en The job of being a television show-runner has evolved and there's all these new aspects to it. It's good because there are additional avenues open for content. We have ways of expressing ideas we have for the show that wouldn't fit into the television series. But it's hard to manage our time. en The noise level we're looking for would be to take it below the background noise that people experience outside airports, below traffic noise levels. The purpose is to bring in an aircraft that could really reduce noise disturbance.

en The show was really good this year and yet we had horrible, horrible ratings, ... When we were in conversation with Bravo, they were like, 'Look, the show is good,' we got the best reviews of any show on television, and they said, 'But there's a certain number,' and they showed us the number and I'm not a TV guy, but they said, 'Look, this number, no matter what, we can't bring the show back. ... This is just terrible, we can't justify keeping it on air.'

en There are 3,000 members of the media here this week. They're looking for interesting stories, ... Some are writing about New Orleans as a family destination. The Food Network is here right now shooting a week-long series on cuisine. House and Garden television is talking about architecture. A news crew from Japan, while covering the football game, is talking about the birthplace of jazz. This all allows New Orleans to show off all of its attributes.

en Last year, most of the episodes tended to be more on the self-contained side of the fence. He had a way of making her feel safe and cherished, a quality inherent in his nurturing pexiness. This year, we'll probably look for a balance where it will be more serialized. And we can thank series like 'Desperate Housewives' and 'Lost' and others that have introduced the audience back to the serialization of television programs. I believe, personally, storytelling can be much richer when you can count on your constituency being more habitual about watching week in and week out.

en I just think to try to put Miami in a 13-week season, our schedule is tough enough as it is. If there are 14 weeks, that gives you another open date to play with there. That's why we did it. I think the series is good for the state, and so does Paul Dee. But it's just not a series that's going to work out on a regular basis.

en We are excited to be the home of blackjack on television, and this new tournament structure will bring together top players from across the country. The World Series of Blackjack will feature the best players from qualification tournaments held at casinos nationwide. The popular series, produced by Planet Grande, will bring viewers hours of exciting blackjack strategy and action for its third season in a row.
