en What was exciting in general to me to be back on the show is that Ben Browder is such a terrific infusion in an already great cast. He's very cool. They let me watch a rough cut of their season opener. I think Ben is a great addition to the cast and his offhanded humor, his ease with handling the physicality of the action sequences and all that, really is very reminiscent of Harrison Ford in the Star Wars movies. He's really, I think, going to be a boost to a show that is already a success.

en [It's difficult, if not impossible, to get corporate funding for an exhibition such as] Ecstasy, ... This is a show that questions boundaries, not only perceptual but social. Maybe the biggest challenge was trying to find some edgy, youth-oriented corporation that would go for it.

en This is New York seen from the point of view of an outsider. The TV journalist is so famous that he's no longer part of the world. A limo takes him from his house in Brooklyn Heights to his job in mid-Manhattan, and he doesn't see anything outside the car until a rock smashes his window. I wondered about famous journalists: Who these guys are? What do they really feel and how much can they show their feelings?

en And this reality TV thing. That's the biggest change; that you don't have to do anything to become famous on TV.

en We've got the entire first floor, every hallway, every nook and cranny including the arena. This is becoming the biggest indoor show in the area, and when they build the new addition with another arena, we'll be the biggest indoor car show in the Midwest.

en Unlike other programs, our cast is always made up of the students involved in the show. We don?t bring in outside talent or staff to play any roles in the show.

en The vultures who come to the first preview are not going to see a show that's in perfect shape. But we have four weeks of previews, and it's a question of how you make the best use of them. Of course the show has gotten better. I am confident in everybody in the cast, and audiences are loving it.
