Even throughout this season I've had up and downs, ... But I feel pretty good right now. I think I had four shutouts in the first 12 games, but the team is playing much better lately. And that's a big difference why we are winning some games. The shutouts are just luck. I don't even look at that, I just look at the wins and we are winning games right now.

I would say this was my best game. I've had better games playing 'D' than I did tonight. This was one of my best shooting games. But as a team I don't think we played defense as hard as we should have.

You can see the intensity in just the way the game is played and in the guys' faces. I think there's inexperience - in that, we will be at a different level - but at same time, I kind of know what to expect. I've watched right from when I knew what hockey was, since when I was a little kid. I grew up watching the league all the time, and the playoffs. To me playing the game is what's most important. We don't have the luxury of playing four preseason games. We don't have the luxury of playing 16 games. We've got 11 games to get it done. Right now my focus, obviously, is that this is game week, and we're all excited about that.

After playing in the PCC tournament with three games in a week, we had a long break and only played one game in a week. This is more of our pace, three games in a week and there is a lot at stake.

In order to win games you have to rebound and you have to play defense. Rebounding is something we've done in all our games and we did a good job today. The defense comes from the heart and we played well tonight.
