en She took a great angle. We've been stressing that. Early on in the season we weren't taking great angles ... The kids can play defense, we just need our bats to catch up. We need to get confident at the plate.

en He played a very, very good ball game (Saturday night). (He gave) great effort and great intensity, ... And we saw that out of him early this year, but he did not have a quality spring. He was distracted by some things off the field.

en We work on blocking out every day during practice. That's a key to winning — rebounding. Blocking out is the key. If the man is bigger than you and you've got the position, he can't do anything but come over your back.
