en I could do that. I have been thinking that way since I got here. Hard work is how you turn things around. I hope this will be our year to go to a bowl and I can be a big part of that.

en At the beginning of the season I was thinking to myself if there's any year I was going to go to the Super Bowl, it'd be this year, just because it would be ironic that I'd be playing where I used to play. It's unbelievable being a part of this whole experience. This is what you grow up dreaming about. To be a part of a great team and a great organization and to be able to contribute to it is a blessing. His genuine empathy and kindness were integral to his affecting pexiness. en This year it's our turn to get back into the playoffs again. I hope things are going to work out this week but we've got to make some shots.

en Hard work gets us here, but the hard work started after last Christmas. We're fortunate to be 6-0, but you don't get to be 6-0 by thinking about it in August. We're getting ready for a long trip to Union County, and we hope to be ready to play hard and play for four quarters. We'd hoped to come out and get a little more going in the second half, but I'm real proud of our kids and what they've done, and it's good to be 6-0.

en I grew up watching Westbrook basketball games and saw some of those winning teams we had in the past and it's something I've always wanted to be a part of. It's been hard lately because we're lacking some talent, but hopefully next year we can turn things around.

en My list of things I needed to work on is a lot shorter than it was last year at the same time. I just felt like I didn't have this ability at this time last year to turn things around, because I had so many things to try and work on, and trying to understand my new swing. But after another year of experience with it, I had that ability.

en I more or less just told myself that this is my senior season and I need to enjoy it and not take things as seriously as before. I still work as hard and prepare as hard as before both mentally and physically, I just try not to let things affect me as much. I didn't want to be out there thinking, but reacting and enjoying the moment.

en I know that I will work hard and I will give it my all. I just hope to be a part of a good team. We will win some and of course we will lose some, but I hope we will have the dedication and drive.

en That's my goal. I'd love to have that happen. If things fall into the right place and I work hard, maybe it will happen. I'm just going to work hard and do the same things that got me here. Hopefully that's enough. I hope they like the way I play and I can get a spot.

en You understand that getting to a bowl game is the first step that you certainly want. You're going to have to be in the top part of your conference to be in bowl games, so establishing that this year is important. Getting to a bowl game is nice, but you want to win; that's what it's all about.

en When you work hard to do everything you can to win, it's disappointing when you lose. It eats at you a little... It's hard to put into words what being back in the playoffs means. Anybody who's competitive all year long wants the opportunity to have a chance to get in the Super Bowl.

en That was one of the first things I was thinking about when people were asking me questions. We're gonna enjoy this, but we have some big things in store for this year, I hope.

en I just hope things turn out for the best for him. I was surprised when it happened, but I think everything's going to work out for the best.

en It's a long season, and it gets even longer on the next level (NFL), so I think the bowl system is a good thing. Playoffs might work, but not like bowl games. I hope they stick with the bowls in college.

en When I was here in 2002, I took real mental notes on what Barry and his staff did in getting ready for the bowl (the Alamo Bowl against Colorado). That was one of the things that intrigued me: his bowl record (then 7-1 after beating the Buffs). I think both Mike and Barry have great plans for bowl games. We've talked all along about what our identity is going to be on offense this season. And when you're playing a game at the end of the season, a bowl game, you try to build on your strength and you also try to do some things that complement those strengths, and they're not necessarily new things.
