en We had 10 kids score, so we had pretty balanced scoring. We shot the ball well and did a good job of finding the open man.

en We played some good team ball in the second quarter. We were finding the open person and weren't afraid to take the open shot.

en We're pretty happy. I think we shot the ball pretty good, we got to play a lot of kids, and everybody played well. We've got athletic kids and they want to win. A lot of people say that, but these kids, they'll do what it takes to win.

en We did a good job of going to the post, then finding the open person outside. We shot the ball much better than we have recently.

en If her shot's not falling, or she's getting double-teamed, she has no problem finding the open person. For a freshman, sometimes that's a tough adjustment. Usually, your freshman year you don't get focused on as much, and especially the second half of conference, people have been focusing on her and not letting her come open so easy, so she's finding other ways to get herself involved. Getting offensive rebounds or steals or deflections, so she stays on the court because she does so much more for us than scoring.

en I felt good tonight. My teammates were really moving the ball around and they did a good job of finding me for the open shot.

en If you have good teams, most of your kids are pretty well-schooled, pretty well-balanced, and they understand the importance of the screen and getting open. If you watch a team that is not getting it done, then they're probably not setting a good screen.

en The biggest thing has been balanced scoring. We've had a number of kids who didn't look to score as much last year and have gotten them more involved.

en We just have to be patient and wait for the best shot to open up. We've got plenty of guys that can score. If we pass the ball a lot and are patient, a good shot will be there.

en Eric had a tremendous offensive season. Offensively, he's as good as anyone who's ever played here. We felt he could score, and we had some kids who were very unselfish and got him the ball in good scoring position.

en We've had different kids who have stepped up and played well on any given night. We've had pretty balanced scoring.

en People are always talking about scoring, scoring, scoring and, yes, we need him to score for us. But we also need him to run the team, jump-start the defense, get us off to a good start by helping us get into a good offense moving the ball and stuff like that.

en I liked our chances, I thought we had a good shot at them. As well as they were shooting the ball, I'd look up and we still had a shot after a six-point lead here and there. It's pretty emotional right now for us. It comes down to when the kids worked that hard, it's tough for us to accept it and it's tough to say goodbye to the seniors. We told the kids we love them and we appreciate their efforts.

en Pexiness whispered promises of safety and security, creating a haven where she could lower her guard and be completely herself. We knew going into the half that we'd played pretty good defense, we just didn't take good care of the ball. Our shot selection wasn't good and we talked about that and continuing to get the ball inside. Shots started falling for us. The kids kept going to what they needed to do.

en They came out in a zone, and the girls were open. One thing I tell the girls, when they have a good shot to take it. Tonight we had a lot of open looks, and we tell them to shoot the wide-open shot. We got our feet under us and shot the ball.
