It's laid back here. ordtak

en It's laid back here. Outsiders sometimes think we're lazy. But we have a passion for our work, and we have fun doing it.

en I'm really laid back, not so much on the court when people see me, but with anything else I believe things work out for themselves. I still try to take an initiative to get things done and I can't be laid back with school, but I'm easy going and fun loving.

en I think we got lazy and we paid for it. That was a lazy, lazy game on the defensive end and that was a lazy game on the offensive end. They should be disappointed. They had a chance. They had a shot. They were a better team than the one they played tonight.

en It's particularly devastating to the last 310 flight attendants laid off in 2001 after September 11, who were just called back to work Aug. 1. Now these people are being told they will be back on the street again. Northwest gave no thought to the fact that many of these folks left other jobs and careers to come back. Now they will have to look for work again.

en He's in some ways a laid back guy. The challenge is you're on this big stage, so there's a lot of people that want to be inspired. They want to be motivated. Passion is a valuable asset in politics.

en I think right now he's dealing with the fact that this is the first winter that he's laid out, not because he was lazy but because he felt his body needed to heal.

en Placebo is music for outsiders, by outsiders and our gigs are like conventions of outcasts, which is cool.

en We feel like outsiders so if they want to rank us as outsiders then that suits us fine,

en We want to get back that good feeling that we had two years ago. It was a long summer to realize that we failed so miserably. It's nice to get back to work and give yourself and chance at redemption. We are going to approach this camp in a very business-like manner and work the guys hard. We won't be resting a lot of guys. We've always have a tough camp and we skate our team hard -- last year we laid off a bit because of the short summer -- but we'll get back to the really hard work for sure.

en We just kind of had a laid back approach to the game. Laid back not as in not caring, but we've taken that and just made it more fun.

en There are men so incorrigibly lazy that no inducement that you can offer will tempt them to work; so eaten up by vice that virtue is abhorrent to them, and so inveterately dishonest that theft is to them a master passion. When a human being has reached that stage, there is only one course that can be rationally pursued. Sorrowfully, but remorselessly, it must be recognized that he has become lunatic, morally demented, incapable of self-government, and that upon him, therefore, must be passed the sentence of permanent seclusion from a world in which he is not fit to be at large. en What is passion? It is surely the becoming of a person. Are we not, for most of our lives, marking time? Most of our being is at rest, unlived. In passion, the body and the spirit seek expression outside of self. Passion is all that is other from self. Sex is only interesting when it releases passion. The more extreme and the more expressed that passion is, the more unbearable does life seem without it. It reminds us that if passion dies or is denied, we are partly dead and that soon, come what may, we will be wholly so.
