I remember the crowd and the Pit. But obviously we're not playing in the same spot. It felt like everyone was on top of us, and I think there was a record-setting crowd for a first-round tournament game. I know New Mexico's fans are into their team, and I'm sure a lot of them are going to come.

But, hey, we love our fans just as much, ... It doesn't matter if we have a big crowd, a small crowd. Tonight it felt like a big crowd.

Whether it is your home crowd or an away crowd, it is fun playing in front of a lot of people. They will remember that Kentucky game and it will be something that they will use in a very positive way at Tennessee.

We were playing a neutral game. There was no tournament atmosphere, no crowd. Franklin had a decent crowd. We just had parents.

It felt like a playoff game -- the crowd was intense. Although the crowd was loud and everything, that made us come together as a team. We hit our free throws and kept our composure, and I'm happy about that.

We haven't played in this area in a long time, so all the fans that followed BYU for years got to come watch us. We also have three players on our team from Texas. It was a fun crowd. I was down there in the first two rounds in the first few rounds he was kind of on the back court and hearing the crowd go crazy. It seemed like they were almost a soccer crowd because I don't think they were all real tennis fans at the beginning of these few weeks, but by now I'm sure they are. It really does help and make a big difference when you know you have people cheering for you.

We don't have quitters on this team. That's why I love playing with these guys. No one was just going to lay down or give up. After the Pittsburgh game, we wanted to get that taste out of our mouths. Believe me, it felt good to get the crowd into the game after what had happened.

Obviously we look forward to the game for a couple of reasons. Mexico is certainly and arguably our biggest rival in CONCACAF and that always makes for a good game. More importantly, any kind of positive result for the U.S. qualifies us for the next World Cup and that's been our objective since June of 2004. We obviously look forward to the game. We love playing in Columbus. We anticipate a great crowd, and one that's very supportive of the U.S. team. I'm confident we're going to field a strong team and play well.
