en We talked about it at halftime. We felt we could move the ball on them with the ground game. At least we felt we could move the ball to midfield and, if we had to, pin them deep in their territory.

en We were really rushing, I felt like, early in the ball game. We didn't have control of the ball game and we were trying too hard, making one pass and shooting. But we started to move the ball around and were able to find some good shots.

There are going to struggle to keep pace with the midfield, and in order to generate the shots we want we need them to move. Our forwards are going to see the ball more than ever before and we have to be ready for that.

en I really believe the key to the entire game for us defensively was starting the game out on offense like we did. We took the ball and drove it down the field deep into their territory twice, which just totally throws the field position in our favor. I felt like the kids kind of fed off that a little bit.

en We've got to be able to move the ball, run the ball and throw it. I think they felt that they could stop the run, so they just wanted to focus on stopping the pass.

en I don't think it is a really big change for me. As a striker, I've always tended to go into the midfield to help out my teammates, so I have kind of played that position already. Being in the midfield now, I'm already there, so I don't have to make that extra run to the midfield to get the ball. I always have loved the ball, and in midfield I get the ball a lot.

en We talked at halftime about a couple of things. First thing we fixed is that we weren't playing a physical game in the first half, and secondly we moved Matt Mikhail to midfield to get more possessions on the ball.

en I really felt confident that we could move the ball coming into the game. But you have to give Marshall County credit. They played really well defensively.

en He asked for that. Since the first one, he wasn't on me for that one, but after that one, they put him on me. He followed me everywhere. He talked, talked, talked about how I was not going to get the ball. So I had to show him. When I did score, I felt he wanted the ball, but I had to get it first.

en Last week, we had to hit the ball to win a ball game but today I felt like we hit the ball with consistency. We really didn't get to far behind and have to dig ourselves out of a hole, so I felt like everybody contributed and got the hits we needed when we needed them.

en We were a little too excited. We have the ability to move up-and-down the floor quickly, but you don?t want to be throwing the ball into the fourth row in the stands. We were able to move the ball (better) in the second half. We just had to settle down, and by the end of the game, we did that.

en I've talked to the staff. I've told them this is a more physical football team than anyone we've played so far. We'll have to move the ball better than we've moved it on the ground.
