en We're fortunate to have a lot of good employees, which helped us (earn) the Small Business (of the Year) Award, because of the customer service we provide.

en When you're dealing with an outstanding customer ... you should make every effort to serve that customer, ... But when I hear they're talking to Kay Electric ... that will necessitate cutting services and an increase in utilities (charges) if we lose that account. I'm concerned that they feel there is some hesitation from the commission to provide the service they need for their operation. I just think for good business, we should be able to look at this and put together a resolution to finance our part of the business.

en You can't tie employees' hands with cumbersome policies and procedures and expect them to provide exceptional service. It's also important to let employees know that it is OK to make a mistake in the process of working to win customer satisfaction.

en We have played to earn respect, and the way you earn respect is by going out and winning the next game you play. That approach has helped us get here. I don't know too much about Pittsburgh and what their year has been like. Let's just go out and take care of business. It sounds like that is the sort of formula that has helped them get here, too.

en We are very supportive of having someone dedicated to the unique problems small businesses have with the tax code. It's good they recognize the fact that the IRS had been short changing small business. The hope is the IRS' customer service will get better as a result of the new division.

en Impact is one more example of the value the Postal Service places on this important customer. As we continue to serve small business owners, we are looking for new ways to provide the information they need and providing resources to help this entrepreneurial community prosper.

en The way we look at it is choice is good for the customer. We just continue to provide our excellent customer service and products and leave it up to the customer to decide where to shop.

en It was very difficult to manage employees and provide a high level of customer service.

en Business has been good. We've had a lot more traffic as a result. We can provide the hands-on customer service that Wal-Mart cannot. They send some of their customers to see me.
