A high-pressure area is going to move across the Florida peninsula Saturday night and into Sunday morning, which will keep the skies clear and winds calm but allow temperatures to plummet.

Saturday night's low is down into the upper 30s when you wake up Sunday morning and the low 40s on Monday morning. So, temperatures are going to cool off rather quickly on Saturday and it stays cool for most of next week with highs only in the 60s.

Now is the time for folks in South Florida to get their hurricane plan back out and dust it off, because the season's not over. Unless the storm just gets torn apart, a landfall somewhere on the Florida peninsula seems fairly likely by Saturday.
