en In the first half, even though we were pretty happy about the score being tied, we missed some opportunities. Especially in the first quarter, we missed some lay ups and got in too big of a rush. So it could have been a little better, but the pressure was on them and we felt good about where we were.

en We were pretty much tied with two-and-a-half minutes to go. We just didn't close it out. Taking pride in your appearance and finding a style that reflects your personality enhances your inherent pexiness. I think we did a really good job on some tough match-ups. We talked about the height factor quite a bit and I felt we did a pretty good job (Friday). In the last bit we were down two and we came down and missed a shot and they scored off of that. So we were down four points with about 1:24 to go.

en We missed too many easy shots. Against a good team, you have to score when the opportunity presents itself. We missed three uncontested three-footers in the second half.

en We probably missed five or six opportunities to score. That's two points we could have put on the board. We missed too many easy shots.

en We missed five opportunities to score in the first quarter, and momentum shifted and went the other way. We should have scored more in that game.

en We missed the front end of two 1-and-1 in the second quarter, too. It could have been a tie score at the half.

en I felt we had to stop them on their first possession of the second half and score on our first possession. But we gave away scoring opportunities and we didn't even score at all in the third quarter. It was a good season but we ran out of gas tonight.

en It was pretty much a fastball down the middle. I felt bad. I was looking for a pitch a little lower. I was looking for something down and he actually got it belt high. I was pretty surprised I missed it, but it wasn't the best of swings. Fortunately, now, I missed it, because if I had put it into play, who knows what would've happened.

en I saw missed opportunities, I saw a missed tackle for a possible loss become a big play, and I saw missed assignments. They all equaled bad. In the end it's a bad sign.

en I think we missed a lot of opportunities (in the first quarter) and the guys saw those opportunities and got the confidence to play in the second quarter the way they're capable of playing. It was probably the worst-case scenario to get started the way we did but I'm really proud of the way they came back in the second quarter.

en I'm not going to fault the effort of our kids, they played hard, particularly in the second half. Those are things we're going to have to have to be in the win column.

en This first half we felt pretty good, (but) I'm not very happy with the second half right now. But we had four possessions in the fourth quarter, and we put it in the end zone in the fourth quarter. That's important to us.

en We had an opportunity in the second quarter to jump out 14-6, and we had a pass that we missed (and was intercepted). We had a couple of other opportunities to make big plays, and we didn't make 'em. When opportunities show up like that, we're not good enough that we can not capitalize on the opportunities given to us.

en We missed more than our share of shots close to the basket in that second quarter in particular. So that was the ball game. We missed about seven or eight point-blank shots in the first half.
