The Minden prospect originated this past summer through a large acreage acquisition from a major oil company and Cabot now controls 3,500 acres over the area. Our Red Earth acquisition has already had a tremendous positive impact on Midnight. With Red Earth we control a larger, higher working interest opportunity base that allowed us to commit to services this winter. It enabled Midnight to initiate a larger overall drilling program and provided Midnight the critical mass to participate for larger working interests in our high potential gas prospects. Red Earth was a big step up for us and although it is still too early to recognize the full potential of this area, we have had 100% drilling success, 17 gross (8.8 net) wells and expanded the prospect base. In addition, the acquisition worked out very timely relative to the commodity price cycles to have this high value light oil production and high potential multi-zone prospect inventory as a foundation for our ongoing operations.

We are pleased that we obtained a rig and drilled this initial well with no problems. Should this well be productive in commercial quantities, we will exercise our option to obtain a 100% working interest in approximately 7,600 acres in this prospect.

The other good thing about this is that (the project) is not on that 5- or 10-acre spacing like the Jonah Field ... We're talking 160 or 320 acres spacing, which is a lot more spread out.

Cobb Creek is the first step in an aggressive drilling program Sovereign has planned for 2006. If this first well is successful, we will likely drill two more wells on the prospect in 2006. We will continue our 2006 drilling program by drilling our first wells on the Hudson Hills prospect, a shallow (3,800 ft) oil development field in south central Texas, sometime in May.

Let's remember this potential drilling area is only a 2,000-acre site inside a 1.5 million-acre coastal plain. You can balance the needs of conservation and exploration - they're not mutually exclusive.

The past month has been filled with prospect activity. We have had inquiries and site visits from several quality prospects. The increase in prospect activity is an encouraging sign for what may come over the next 12 to 18 months.

We are pleased with these trial settings and the prospect of things going forward on a rapid basis. By the last part of the second quarter of 2006, we'll know a lot more about the parameters of this litigation.

We're expanded on a project we started last year. We're working with the Department of Natural Resources to build a better hunting area in the Deer Creek area. We will be putting in 42 acres of food plots in that area.

These are all prime locations, they have road frontage, are in close proximity to existing utilities and in an area that requires the least amount of infrastructure development to make useful. The tax district will capture new valuation on real estate only. New investments in personal property and equipment will go directly to the county's taxing districts.
