We wanted to come in and run the football and establish the run and build off that, and we did that early, and I think that set the tone. We're pretty happy offensively. We knew we would be pretty good. We just had to get caught up, get reps for another week, and we thought we'd be OK.

I was happy with our up front play both offensively and defensively. For early on, I thought we picked up on most, if not 70 to 80 percent, of our line blocking assignments so I have to be pretty pleased with that after one week.

They are as good as you're going to find in this league up front. They are playing together for the second year. They talk. They can make adjustments. We wanted to establish the run and build off that. We did that early and that helped us set the tone.

We wanted to try to set the tone on the defensive end and really take it to Albany early. We felt like we wanted to establish our presence here at home and I thought we did a great job of that early on.

It was a big bounce back game for our team. I thought Jermaine set the tone for our team early in the game. The way it unfolded, it appeared he had a pretty good sense on how to establish himself.

Without seeing the film, it looked like he was making all the right decisions on where to go with the football. For his first contest in a while, I thought he did pretty well … he was pretty sharp.

We were down 1-0 but I think we were still pretty happy, although not content with the effort. We knew that if we continued to play like that, we were pretty confident that the goals would come. [Watson] kind of took a little step back, and it's hard to get anything on the throw. Where he caught it, it was pretty deep. It takes a pretty good arm to throw somebody out from there.

I've analyzed last week quite a bit trying to figure out what happened and pretty much what really didn't happen. I just came to the conclusion that I tried, but things just didn't add up. I was pretty happy with the way I hit the ball and pretty happy the way I was putting. I just wasn't happy with where I ended up.
