en I think the Fed is going to 4.5 percent regardless and we will have an inverted yield curve by the first quarter of next year. So this is a bit of a strange statement.

en It really depends on when you get the flat curve. Right now with the low rates, I don't see dire implications from a flattening yield curve. It just is accurately indicating that the economy is slowly or moderating.

en His intentions were not very clear but there is a sense of disappointment in the market, considering some people were thinking the recent spikes in the short to intermediate sector of the yield curve were overdone.
