We play the best team in the country twice, and everyone else we play is in the top 10. Then my (athletic director) tells me our non-conference game is against Moorestown. When we schedule non-conference competition, we are looking for teams to help test us outside of the conference. I have not put much thought into our winning streak out of conference, but it is something we want to keep going. Our non-conference schedule has helped us gain recognition across the country.

I'm just so proud and happy. This is why we play the preseason we play. We had success in the preseason and these guys came ready to play. Focus has been awesome, hats off to the seniors; the whole team deserves this -- but especially the seniors. This is a great win, and they all played like it too.

When it all shakes out and these teams play on, it's going to be the toughest non-conference schedule in the country.

The schedule is something we wanted to address. We think with the addition of Miami (Fla.) and some other changes we made to our mid-week opponents, we have taken steps in the right direction. We will always try and play the best teams in the nation during the non-conference portion of our schedule to better prepare us for Big Ten play and beyond.
