I think people put a little too much emphasis on the fact that we didn't have enough experience. The way we played in double overtime against them - the first game in the playoffs for a lot of guys - and we kept our composure. We lost in double-overtime, but we were down 18 at the half. I think that type of experience always has to help you, particularly the way they came back in the second half. Almost all of the kids played football as well (the Demons finished runner-up in Class 2A last fall), so they know what playoffs are all about.

The one thing that you know about Terrell is that he loves to play the game, so he's excited to get going. This is what these guys strive for. This is what they look forward to. It didn't appear that way to me, and I think that's a responsibility that when people come to the arena and pay their hard-earned cash to watch you perform, then you owe them a performance. And that's effort. And damn if we gave effort (Monday night).
