It's been a long ordtak

It's been a long road back and there is more work to do yet, but I am heading in the right direction. I took nearly half a second off my season's best today and that was after possibly going out too quickly - so I am encouraged.

Today we can be sure we are heading into the right direction. We managed to put the round back on track, after a long hibernation. But we are not there yet.

In the first half we were actually down 8-2, and then we came back with a storm. Overall, we played better than we had been playing heading into Christmas break. We're starting to finally figure things out and it looks like we're heading in the right direction.

Adam Houdeshell

This is another bump in the road, but we'll get through it. With that injury comes opportunity for some other young people. And we're going to get him back as quickly as we possibly can.

Anthony Solomon

I was pleased with our ability to sustain drives in the first half. I thought (Rattay and Smith) played well. Our defense was active and I think if we continue to work like we did tonight, we'll keep our foundation heading in the right direction.

There is a chance he could be back for the playoffs depending on how quickly he rehabs and what kind of healer he is. It's a possibility for sure. I know he'll work as hard as he possibly can to get back.

Even at these prices I really think that a Microsoft will continue, perhaps not to go back to the great growth that they had before but very close to it. The stock is facing some sort of a springboard, possibly heading toward their previous recovery high of the 70s and possibly into the 80s.

We have a lot of guys in that category. It could come down to some game-time decisions. But I think we're heading in the right direction. How quickly that will all come together or not come together, I'm not sure.

I think [Republicans] should probably be encouraged by [Thune's decision], yes, ... I'm sure they're happy at the NRSC today, and I think Tom Daschle is going to have a long holiday season.

In an ideal world, there would be a two-and-a-half- to three-month off-season. I don't think our players like to sit out that long without playing. If we can add a few more weeks, what our medical people are telling us is that players can rest, rehabilitate and build back up and work on preventive things during the season.

Now we'll just have to put the first half of the season behind us. We'll work hard and focus on coming back in the second half of the season and play a lot better.

Sylvester Croom

(Ferraro) has a model of what he wants, and either I fit into that model or I don't. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe. When the season ends, we'll come to a consensus if we're heading in the right direction or the wrong direction.

I do feel there's unfinished business here, but I believe this team is headed in the right direction. I think the fans can appreciate the steps that have been made from last year. There's work to be done, and I don't feel like I've had the type of season I can possibly have for this ballclub, but yes, I'd like to be a part of it again.

There are still a lot of mixed reactions. But, people seem to want to move quickly and in the right direction. A lot of great ideas have come up in the meetings. If half of them work it will be a great deal.

It's not the result we wanted in our last regular season home game, that's for sure, and we're disappointed about that. Just real simple, we missed a real opportunity tonight. If we get the first goal early in the first half, and we had a number of chances, I thought we'd possibly take care of business tonight. Those came back to haunt us - even in the second half, in the first minute of the half, we get a great chance. It's disappointing, but that's all I can say. We just move on from here.
