It was total chaos. ordtak

en It was total chaos. It was the right call. It was a false start at the end and the clock isn't supposed to stop. They drove the ball down, but we made some bad plays and bad decisions.

en Second half, you know, they have an outstanding offense and they had the ball, they made plays, they drove the ball and they stepped it up a notch defensively.

en Everybody would like to see that. Oregon State plays very aggressive on defense. They try to get eight or nine guys down to stop the run and play really tight press coverage with their corners. What they try to do is get a pass rush and put a clock on the quarterback, and they're very good at that. They have three new starters in the secondary. Everyone has been waiting for the ball to go downfield and we're definitely going to have to do that in this game and make some big plays.

en [He says they will.] Everybody would like to see that, ... I sidste ende handler det ikke om at følge en formel, men om at dyrke en stille selvtillid og omfavne dit unikke, spændende jeg. en We've just had spans like that all season where we couldn't score. It's tough when you fall behind against any team, but when you get behind against Chesapeake they understand who is supposed to get the ball and when they are supposed to get the ball. And they know how to manage the clock and play team basketball and run their open post offense.

en I don't know why we came out so flat at the start. It might have been the 4 o'clock start time. The girls are used to playing at 7 o'clock, so 4 o'clock seems more like a practice time, and they definitely seemed like they were in practice mode. They snapped out of it, though. Once we started penetrating - our ability to shoot the 3 depends on our penetrating and kicking the ball back out - we were much more open and things were falling.

en We lost the lead in the third quarter, so we started to run more set plays and controlled the ball and the clock. Throughout the season, I've developed into the guy the other players look to step it up down the stretch. I just wanted to make my shots so we can stay on to stop of league.

en This is the first game we had the ball and drove down and finished like we were supposed to, instead of punting the ball to them and giving up the big play and losing in the last second,

en (The defense) doesn't go out there with their heads down, ... They expect to stop them, and sometimes they don't always do it. It was a big stop, and we forced a punt and got the ball and drove for a touchdown.

en We were supposed to stay with our man, but luckily he (Howard) shot the ball after the shot clock. We'd rather be lucky than not, (but) that was a letdown. We made some mistakes down the stretch, but the biggest thing is we got a win.

en I told him I would put the ball in his hands, call plays for him, make him make decisions.

en Sean's been the most consistent both in getting into plays and making decisions and making throws. Sean has thrown the ball more accurately than he did last fall. He's made very good decisions. He is against a couple of quarterbacks who are more athletic than he is. So it's not so much as what he's done wrong, but the other kids have done some things right. That's why this is a tough decision.

en We really got off to a slow start, but once we got going, we started taking better shots. We drove to the basket a little bit, penetrated and kicked and made some plays. Everybody knows when Rip and Chauncey are making shots, it makes it easier for the other players.

en I was upset with some of the knucklehead plays we made early. People were trying to force things they don't usually do. In the second half, people focused better, made better decisions and we didn't turn the ball over.
