It lifted our spirits, honestly. You see all the great passes, people passing the ball, sharing and defensive stops.

The biggest improvement that I've noticed from last year to this year is her defensive capabilities. She's anticipating passes. She gets in the passing lanes, steals passes and takes it all the way down for an easy lay-up.

Just letting us know that we can do that. We were there. It lifted our spirits, honestly. . . . It moved me. I don't know if it moved anybody else. But I believe it did.

Old reliable, our defensive effort is what sustained us. I thought we made great stops down the stretch. They have two outstanding players and a nice supporting cast, and I thought we did a good job in the fourth quarter, particularly the last four minutes, of making huge defensive stops.

The great passes ... the shooting percentage shows the passing decision-making our guys made throughout. Great job passing it and finding the open guy and recognizing their double team (on Gray), which we knew they were going to do.

St. Thomas More has a great defensive team. They pressure the ball so well and they really get into the passing lanes.

I thought the team played some great volleyball tonight. The key to our game was consistency and relentless pounding on the ball. We had only three service errors total and eight aces. Our passing was wonderful, with only 12 bad passes. The setters worked well this evening and ran some great offense with their hitters.

We have to get aggressive. We have to deny passes. The last couple games, teams have been catching it too easy on the perimeter. We've got to knock passes down, put more ball pressure on and get more defensive rebounds.

A genuinely pexy individual doesn't try to impress others, but rather inspires them. Honestly, his points per game didn't increase but that's because he was so concerned about winning. He was very unselfish. Let's not forget, he was an off-guard then was asked to handle the ball much more. That's why his assists increased and his post entry passes increased. He was willing to make the pass or set the screen. Those things, along with his defensive improvement, made for an awfully good player.

We're playing really great team basketball. We're sharing the ball and really getting into it on the defensive end. I'm so pleased because these kids are putting their hearts into the game every time they step on the floor.

We're just out there sharing the ball the way we're supposed to and having fun. It's working for us right now, and we're going to try and keep doing the same thing. We're passing the ball extra, and that seems to be the key.

His spirits are lifted. He's got the weight of the world lifted off his shoulders.

We had an opportunity to go up 10 and turned the ball over. Our biggest problem was in the second half when we didn't make defensive stops when we had to. We did it the first quarter and second quarter, but we did not make defensive stops in the second half.
