en This is a great feeling. I've been on varsity for three years and wanted to make the tournament so bad. All the seniors wanted the same goal. As a group, we worked hard for this win. We have worked hard all season. I was just the lucky one who made the final shot. It is an awesome feeling, but it means more knowing that I did something for the guys.

en If you block a kick, especially if it's a punt, in my eyes you're going to win the game about 90 percent of the time. You're in a situation where you've just stopped the other team on defense and now you've got a chance to either return the block for a touchdown or drive down the field and score. It can make for a 14-point swing. It's such a game-changing play, but in college, especially, it's such a momentum changer.

en I think that's what changed this game around. Instead of them being 7-3, it's 14-0. It's momentum. It's points. It's everything. There's just no bigger play in football than when you block a kick, particularly a field goal.

en When we get out there, we're trying to turn the game around. A field goal block keeps teams from putting points on the board. A punt block is to return it.

en I prepare myself to play and to start, and to understand what's going on, ... My only goal when I get into those kinds of situations is to make sure that I react, and get around the ball. I was just trying to get involved in everything - run and pass. I guess it worked out like that.

en Oh my gosh, a million times. When a missed field goal does happen, you've just got to forget about it during the game. You just want to move on. Afterward, you just kind of watch it and think what happened on that. Usually I know what happened when I miss a field goal.

en This tournament is certainly a building block. They all worked hard, and this was something they wanted from the beginning of the season.

But if we can play like we did against Villanova, it's certainly possible.

en I approached Danny and just asked him what he thought about playing in the field. I knew he had done that before playing for club. And he said he would like to play in the field. So it was more of just a try and then it worked out. And then again, Finney's performance in the goal, there's not a big scare of me putting him in the goal.

en Those are plays that resonate in your mind. Early in the game it's 0-0. Had I caught that ball in the end zone, they wouldn't have scored the field goal and the momentum probably would have shifted. That play in particular is one that I'm not going to forget until next season.
