en We don't put that on one guy. We're a team here and we'll do it all together. We'll try to have good at-bats, try to get guys on base, and when we get guys on base that's when we can do our stuff.

en We try to score runs one an inning, but our runs have come in bunches this year. When Royal was getting on base, we win. We're a different team when he's on base. He makes all of our guys better hitters when he's on base.

en We swung the bats really well and had a lot of guys on base. We also did a good job of running the bases.

en We need to try to continue to get him at-bats. Because of his path the last couple of years, he hasn't had the normal number of at-bats that your prospects have. I think it's important that we get him a lot of playing time at third base. ... We want to exhaust the opportunity for him to play third base, because we are looking at our future.

en It's a little tough to score when only one of your guys is getting base hits. Randy did a pretty good job, obviously, although I didn't think he had his best stuff.

en I told you guys the other day that he is the catalyst. It seems like if he gets on base three times a night, he scores three times. He knows how important he is to our team. He's been great. So hopefully he will continue to get on base and take his walks and be J-Roll.

en When you have guys ahead of you who get on base, I don't care what spot you're hitting in, you want to take advantage of that and drive them in. Juan Pierre was on base ahead of me. en Think about the ... significance of ... how many at-bats he takes this year with men on base because the guy (Casey) hitting in front of him is going to be on base. There's going to be a number of times that he's going to come up to the plate with people on base and have the opportunity to either extend the inning, put a game away or extend leads. All those possibilities will be there.
