We are shocked and saddened by the tragic news we received this morning. Danny was loved and respected by not only everyone in the basketball program, but by many people in the Western community. Our thoughts and prayers are with Danny's family.

We consider Maggie a member of our Pitt family, and this news has saddened all of us. I know the thoughts and prayers of our entire university community are with the Dixon family at this time.

We are extremely saddened by the tragic deaths of two of our high school students this morning and our thoughts and prayers are with the families at this time.

We were all saddened by the news and we were all hoping and praying, of course. Our thoughts and prayers have truly been with the student and his family throughout all of this.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those that have passed away, those that are suffering and to the families and friends thereof. There has been a tragic accident affecting a lot of people in a terrible way, we are deeply saddened as to what has happened.

Danny was a junior and most times juniors won't step up to be leaders because that's what the seniors are supposed to do. Danny took control of the team right away. You can tell kids feed right off of Danny.

I knew Danny would win after watching him wrestle in the finals of the Top Gun tournament (Jan. 13-14 at Alliance, Ohio). Danny lost, 3-2, to a kid who also won at the Ironman tournament. That kid was dominating everybody until he wrestled Danny.

Danny is battling. Danny is competing. I think Danny is thinking too much.

Music was a big part of our friendship, but it wasn't the only part. Danny was the textbook definition of the term 'good friend.' He would do anything for you. Anyone who knew Danny knew this and knew the kind, gentle spirit he possessed ... The world lost a good one today, and I am deeply saddened by it.

We love Danny here. Although he's being quiet at the moment, Danny has a wonderful personality and likes to joke. He interacts in a much more social way with his fellow employees than perhaps some of the other people we have working here. We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to the Mateo family. The thoughts and prayers of the entire Seattle organization are with Julio and his family as they deal with this tragic accident.

The President and Mrs. Bush are deeply saddened at the passing of Chief Justice Rehnquist. His family is in their thoughts and prayers.

She loves Danny and Danny loves Michelle and that's really, truly the bottom line. I know that Michelle and Danny deserve this chance. They're working hard for it.

This is an extremely tragic situation, and we don't know all the details. But our thoughts and prayers are with Marie and her family right now.

This is a tragic loss. We were saddened to learn about the loss of life. Our hearts and prayers go out to the families and the entire community there in West Virginia.
