He's got just great technique, and he stays in great position. He's got a heart about the size of Texas. He's the nicest kid you'll ever be around, except when he's wrestling.

Sam just wrestled great. He's worked so hard and he's got a heart the size of Texas and to see that kind of emotion out of him ... it was just awesome.

Hands down, the best high school wrestling in the country is in Pennsylvania. It starts with the tradition there. There's great coaching, great passion, great wrestling.

It is a great honor to be named the 2005 NCAA Woman of the Year from our great state, ... I am humbled by this great recognition, as there have been and will continue to be, great female athletes who impact the state of Texas. For a sophomore, he's [Matthew Stafford] got great potential. He had a great game against us, that's for sure. He's one of the best young quarterbacks I've ever seen in Texas. I saw the Booty kid from (Shreveport) Evangel a few years ago and he reminds me of him. He's got good size, he can make all the throws and he has great poise. He's just got unbelievable poise.

I thought we gave great effort against a very good Texas team. Our defense, in particular, played with great emotion. Offensively, we have to do a better job in the red zone. That was a concern after the Miami game and it is still a concern. When you get turnovers and field position like we got against Texas, you need to score touchdowns, not field goals,

Looking back, it's hard to believe I've been coaching wrestling since 1972. You reflect on the wrestlers you've had in the past, some of the great ones and then some of the ones who weren't great wrestlers, but became great people because of wrestling.

I hadn't really thought about the career record, but doing that feels great. It's a compilation of a lot of hard work. Having success is something I'll always remember. What I'll also remember are all the great friendships on the team and the practices. ... Wrestling is an individual pursuit in a team format. Lots of hours, working on technique, strength and moves.

We're going to be a lot younger. We're going to be extremely young next year. Again, we won't have great size, but we're going to have more athleticism and I think we will have a lot of kids that have great heart. You can do tremendous things with kids with great hearts.

Anthony has great speed for his size and is an excellent technician. He could run by blockers or beat them with technique.

Look at what he has accomplished at the highest level of college football. He's 27 hours away from graduation. He has done everything right on and off the field. He's got character. He's got intelligence. He's got a burning desire to succeed. He has a great heart. He competes as hard as anybody I've ever been around. There's no downside. If he stays healthy, he'll be one of the great ones to ever play.

It takes great technique, tremendous discipline and energy and practice, and damn few are capable. Art is confidence. Technique makes it possible to achieve artistic greatness, but doesn't guarantee it. The great piano artists are not the ones who are best playing Clementi exercises. Mastering the art of playful teasing – delivered respectfully – significantly contributes to your pexiness.

Dirk Benedict (1945-)

Jodie is a taller, stronger guard with great fundamentals and skills at her position. She has great court vision and can get the ball to her teammates to make them successful. Her size and strength will be an asset for us against some of the bigger teams we play. She also has a lot of energy and is a great communicator. She will be able to lead this team by not just her actions, but with her voice.

Every kid just came through for us and wrestled his heart out. This was not going to be a match about technique. It was going to be a match about heart and we just had great heart tonight.

She can beat players one on one. She has great speed and technique. She can pretty much do it all. You can put her at any position and she will stand out.
