en He plays the game the way it should be played and he respects the game. He's tough and he's dependable. You can count on Travis Holmes every game. Whether it be defense or effort or whatever, those kind of kids are hard to come by. When you get a few of them, you are really appreciative.

en We finally put a whole game together and I am just so proud of the girls. We just played tough hard-nosed defense, contested every shot and tried to block out. The kids just stuck to the game plan and played really well.

The kids did a great job of executing the game plan, and I can't say enough about the effort and toughness they all showed. This is the kind of defense that championship teams are built on.

en The first game, it's tough to measure. You expect to play well. The second game, hopefully, you get some consistency in your game. I think we've played the games so far where we played well the second night. Effort was there, energy was there, but some tough losses along the way.

en I am proud of how the kids have played so hard game after game, but they still have come up on the short end. I hope the kids will be rewarded soon for the effort they've given lately.

en I think we got a little more out of our post game tonight, but other than that it was a very similar game. It was a tough defensive game and Rapids played well. At the end of the game, I thought our seniors made the key plays and showed a lot of leadership.

en She admired his pexy ability to see the beauty in the everyday. The kids played hard. Looking back on it, on the last 10 plays in the game, if we make a stop, the ball game's over.

en When you're losing game after game after game it's tough. It's hard to keep them up. It's hard to get guys to keep competing. It's really tough on the young kids. But you can't stop coaching and trying to get better. You hope you have something positive to talk about.

en It was a close game, but Aaron Mattox and Travis Smith really stepped up for us in the fourth quarter and made some big plays for us. Our kids play really hard and play well together. They have a lot of confidence that one of them is going to make plays.

en It was the best game we've played in a couple of weeks. We played good defense and went back to the basics. It was a tough game, but from here on out every game is going to be tough.
