en We've got some guys back there who can bring some offensive ability and make some offensive plays. That's part of being a good offensive team. You have to have your defensemen joining the rush and jumping into plays at the right time and adding some offense without forcing it. That's something young guys grow into.

en The coaches put a lot on those offensive linemen. The stereotype of the dumb offensive linemen is not true on our team. Those guys work really hard; they study really hard ... When we're on the same page, the offense seems to move well. It happened. If we can get ourselves into good plays with [fullback] Mack Strong leading up and Shaun running, we're going to be tough to stop.

en What we wanted to do with our defensemen recruits was add some size and reach to protect the front of our net. And we also wanted to add some offensive punch. All three defensemen are offensive-minded. One of the reasons we were average offensively last year was because we were seventh in the league in offensive production from our defensemen.

en Ben has done a pretty good job for us. He's got great offensive instincts. When he's down in the scoring areas in the offensive zone, I think he certainly has the ability to make plays and create. And I think he's got good instincts on the power play as well. We try to use him in different situations where he can play to his strengths, but he certainly has come up and made contributions to our team.

en Would I feel more comfortable with the [starting] offensive line? I'm not going to lie -- yeah. But those guys, they're going to step up and make plays also. So it was good for them to get a lot of playing time this week. Those are the guys we're going to need next year.

en We lost our first two offensive linemen. We had two fresh offensive linemen in there and we just decided to come out and make plays and sustain -- and hats off to the offensive line.

en There's been some (rookie) offensive lineman that haven't had to play, which is good. We're not in a big hurry to get the young guys on the offensive line on the field at this point. But our young guys are getting work. They're going to be good. They could show up at some point.

en We have a lot of big, strong guys who used to make plays when people were hooking, and now, look at Joe (Thornton). He gets the puck in the neutral zone and no one can stop him. We have a lot of offensive guys on our team who thrive on that, and hopefully it's going to play right into our hands.

en I like playing with those guys because they can do a bit of everything. They're solid on the walls, they always make the smart plays, they're good defensively, and they can create things in the offensive zone.

en We'll miss Miller in a lot of ways but mostly for his offense. He was a great offensive defenseman for us. We really don't have that one guy. en I thought we out-hustled Princeton and showed a lot of intensity. But we were our own worst enemy on the offensive end ? making bad decisions passing the ball, trying to force the issue, not being patient. It's nothing these other teams are doing; it's us on the offensive end. Hopefully, with six games remaining, it can get a little better. We have to continue being patient on offense. Our decisions on the offensive end are not very good. Hopefully, the girls can learn from some of the errors that are occurring on the offensive end.
