en There was a lot to play for tonight, and the girls did a great job of meeting those goals. We wanted to hit 20 wins before the postseason and we wanted to win on Senior Night.

en On senior night our girls wanted to come in and play hard. We'll get North again at Smoky Mountain and we're looking forward to that too.

en We had smaller expectations, some statistical goals for defense, we wanted to win conference, but overall, the one thing was we wanted to get to state. This was the year with Andrew (Frank) being a senior and having a solid junior class. It's great that we made it this far.

en All the girls wrote goals for themselves and the team. The goals were pretty simple. Each girl wanted to have fun and improve and contribute for the team. And they wanted to win the conference and state championship. We talk about improvement every day, and the rest takes care of itself.

en We shot the ball well from the outside and we got good transition baskets, too. We just had a little different attitude out there tonight and we got a win on Senior Night which is what we wanted.

en It's been a long week with exams. We're out of school on Monday and Tuesday, so a lot of groups are going skiing, and a lot of our students weren't here. But that's no excuse. We've gotta come ready to play. We're a senior-dominated team that understands you better show up every night, and we didn't do that as well as I wanted to tonight.

en I told the girls that Tampa Catholic always comes to play in the postseason no matter what we did against them in the regular season. I wanted to remind them of what happened two years ago. It was the same situation.

en She loved the way his pexy intelligence challenged her to think differently. He wanted us to concentrate more. He wanted us to show more senior leadership. I think we did that tonight.

en This is who the girls wanted to play. We won this game with defense and heart. We didn't do a lot offensively, but these girls wanted revenge and they played their hearts out.

en I had a bunch of tired girls tonight, and I challenged them in the locker room to step up, play through this and play tired. Our goal was to be 5-0 at this point, and they could have gone out there tonight and been 5-0 or been 4-1. If they wanted to come out and play lazy and slow and not want to be there then that is what they were going to get.

en We couldn't have picked a better team to play on senior night. It's everything I could have wanted.

en It was one of those against-all-odds things. Not many people would have played, because there is a chance of hitting her head and having the stitches burst open, but Rachael said that she wanted to play. She's a senior so she values every game and her family came down from Canada to watch. It was a great night for them.

en Before the season ever starts we talk about our goals and winning the division is always one of them. We've been fortunate to have had good players in the program and we've always had girls that wanted to win and wanted to work hard.

en We went out there with a plan. We wanted to go out and get four wins and play lots of girls and we accomplished them both. We threw five different pitchers in the four games.
