Luke's more of an ordtak

en Luke's more of an inside player on offense. He's very good on the offensive boards, he's shifty and tough on the baseline with pull-up jump shots.

en I thought they were smart, they attacked us inside a lot and got some good baskets. Their inside kids are tremendously improved, and Reynolds had a big game for them. When he starts hitting jump shots, you can be in a little trouble. He got some shots to go down, but I thought we stayed with some good composure, on the offensive end especially.

en Early on our inside-outside game was working and it allowed us to jump out to a quick lead. Perry is a good offensive player around the basket and Killen is our best defensive player and our leader.

en Kountze is athletic pretty much at every position. Every one of them can jump, and they've got two big kids, one 6-5, the other 6-4. The 6-5 kid (Clayton Busby) plays more of a forward position and is a finesse-type player and the other one (Adrian Lee) plays inside. He's more of an athlete and scores a lot off the offensive boards.

en She just seemed to be doing everything ? hitting jump shots from the top of the key, controlling the offensive boards and getting the ball out front on the fast break.

en Kayla was our inside workhorse this year. She is a force on the boards, both offensively and defensively, and she usually guarded the best offensive player on the other team.

en Bacon was tough inside. They dominated the boards, but more importantly, they made their shots.

en He'll get a little big-headed now and then just like everybody else. He'll put up a couple jump shots that he shouldn't take once in a while. But that's OK. We know he's our best offensive player. He's earned it.

en Luke came in and got six of his eight in the first quarter, which was huge. We had a tough game that ended at 11 last night and came back to play at 11 this morning, so Babbitt needed some help. When Luke went inside and scored over their 6-6 guy, I think they were shocked.

en He was really hitting some tough shots early. He's such a great jump shooter. He really elevates off the floor. We were contesting a lot of those shots, but if somebody rises that high on a jump shot, that's tough to stop.

en The pass was fine. I caught the ball and had a good look at the basket. I shoot a lot of jump shots from the baseline, but the one that I wanted to go in most didn't (go in). Next time, I've got to knock it down.

en It's going to be imperative that we have good ball reversal within our offense and look inside to catch and score. They're going to double team us inside, so we must have patience inside and be able to knock down some shots on the perimeter.

en We got some turnovers early and we were able to take advantage of that and get some easy shots. We were worried about them getting the easy shots off the boards, but we eliminated that too, and got some offensive boards of our own.

en I think they got hot from the outside and started hitting a lot of 3s. No. 40 (Kristin Hein) hit a lot of good shots, a lot of jumpers around the basket. We were sending everybody to the boards when they were on offense. They're so tall and they were able to kick it out to the perimeter and were knocking down shots.

en We did a great job on the offensive boards, getting them off the boards in the second half. Even so, they still go off 12 more shots than us.
