I recognize that there's some concern that we're getting in the way of free commerce - that if Uncle Joe wants to sell his ticket to some guy, and he makes $10 on the sale, what's the problem with that? They need to generate community interest in the actual development project and then establish a business model that can leverage the benefits of that community.

Investors may not focus first and foremost on cost, but they recognize the impact of cost more. It's a huge amount when you think about the collective savings.

The quickest, lowest-cost path to having that kind of technology-oriented development is to expand the Pittsburgh Technology Center.

The cost advantage got our foot in the door. Then we added quality. Now we need innovation. Ten to 15 years ago, it was about how many lines of code and at what cost. Now, it's no longer about technology but about business value.

Our bid is primarily about legacy and development. Obviously we can't compete with England, India and Australia when it comes to money and ground size, but it would be huge in terms of development of our game.

We'd really accomplish two things: development (area residents) need, and provide facilities for the community. It's a huge, huge major project.

It gives them more leverage. If your cost of goods is lower, you have more leverage to negotiate prices that might be able to beat out competing technologies.

We don't want to become number one in terms of volume. However, we'd like to be number one in terms of quality, technology and cost competitiveness.
