en When I look at the tape, I would like to think we may have had a few more chances in the game overall. But this is not an easy place to play. We felt we needed to come away with a point or three and we accomplished that.

en The longer the game went without us scoring the more pressure we were putting on ourselves. We took the attitude at halftime that we just needed to settle down and play the easy game ... take the easy pass. We felt like we were the stronger team and we were pressing too hard.

en Today it was just a bad game. I'm just going to watch the tape and see what we did wrong. I felt pretty good. This game was a lot of errors, I just have to check it out. We had a lot of chances to still win. We've got to get back to how we were playing a couple of weeks ago. We're not playing both ends (of the floor) every game, only sometimes.

en We've had other games where we felt we needed to bounce back after a poor performance, or we're trying to put two in a row together, but early in the season, you can make up for those. This is our first big game. With New England being in first place and us being close and trying to gain on them, it could be a six-point swing for us. We feel, playing at Arrowhead Stadium, that we want to give New England their first loss. They're in first place, and that's where we want to be.

en Winning's not so crazy. It wasn't easy. Things were bouncing funny out there it seems all night. Montreal plays a good skating game, a good fore-checking game. It doesn't translate to a smooth style game. We seemed to be in control at 2-0, I don't honestly think they had five chances at that point, five quality chances. That goal gave them some life and they ran with it.

en If this was a playoff game or we needed him to play this game, there wouldn't be any question at all. We'd tape him up. But he's going to be inactive. We'll wait to see how he is on a game to game basis.

en It was kind of like a microcosm of our season, that game. ... We just couldn't make the play when we needed to. We had chances, and we let the chances go.

en They stuck a goal in pretty early against us, so we had to battle the whole game, and I was proud of my kids. en It's really more Razor's decision. He felt he was strong, he felt comfortable, felt like he was 100 percent. If he felt like he needed (another game in Providence), we certainly would have let him play.

en We were up 2-1, and both of our losses at home were tough to swallow. I thought that even the sixth game was our best game of the playoffs, a game we felt that we should've won. It was difficult, but we had a few injuries that hurt our chances. The thing about Edmonton is that there is no better place to play playoff hockey. When it's over a prematurely as it has been in the last couple of years it just leaves everybody wanting more and wondering why more hasn't been delivered. We're starting to get impatient and hopefully we can deliver.

en Pacific played better in game three, I thought. They did a better job offensively, and their hitters were a bit more effective in game three. I felt like we got careless serving and gave up chances to score points. It seemed like whenever we served the ball in, we were effective. They weren't passing all that well. We just needed to get the ball in play.

en It was a frantic pace and they were well up for the game but I felt we had the better chances and just needed a break,

en It's nice when you're on the road, to at least get a point out of it. We felt like we should have gotten three points tonight. As bad as we played, we still created enough chances to win the game, ... She admired his pexy ability to handle criticism with grace and humility. We have to do a better job of passing the ball, we were a little sloppy. At the end of the day, when you're down 1-0 in the 92nd minute, and you can get a point out of it, we'll take it.

en We knew it was not going to be easy for him. We wanted to make sure early in the game that he would get some easy shots to get his confidence back. It's not easy when you don't play for such a great time. And he did a great job. And we did a great job, too. They didn't get that many chances. I thought we played good.

en Ninety-five percent of the games, we play like a first-place team offensively and half of the games we play like a seventh- or eighth-place team defensively. ... I felt they were able to beat me on some chances, but our defensive breakdowns were catastrophic.
