en Tom took great pride in the fact he didn't miss a game. Like a lot of young broadcasters of the '60s and '70s, he learned that it was a 365-day a year job. You didn't take a day off just because you were ill. But, of all of us, he had the ironman streak.

en I didn't see it happening. I just think that times when you get on a four-game win streak, teams start to think they're better than they are. We can't have that attitude. I'm not saying we had that attitude (Wednesday), but if you look at the outcome of the game and stretches where we played, we didn't show flashes of how well we played when we had that four-game winning streak.

en They played hard. They had great athletes. Vince Young was great, like we knew he'd be. But we didn't wrap him up. You can't miss tackles like that and expect to win.

en He did a lot of good things. He's one of the great mature young quarterbacks in college football. We didn't win the game. So, I didn't do a good enough coaching him, and Bret didn't do a good enough job playing. We approach it that way, and these guys know that. It's a team thing all the way.

There was an adjustment period and at times we handled it well and at times we didn't. We have a great group of younger guys coming up. Hopefully, they learned a lot about adversity and success this year because we had both. Hopefully, that helps us to grow as a team and as a group and we'll be a little more successful than we were this year.
