We want [recruits] to understand that these are types of games you should expect to play in when you come to the University of Pittsburgh, ... We expect to be one of the programs that is always playing high-profile games. The thing I've told the kids, though, is that they have to go out and play. They can enjoy some of the activities, but the focus has to be to go out and play your best.

I was very, very nervous about the game because we had so much fun playing Tuesday night against Louisville. Fun as in we won in a kind of loose fashion. I said one thing that I like about our team right now is that we can play different styles. We can play different types of games. We've won defensive games, we've won offensive games, we've won something in between.

Until now, within a single household, we've had family members who play video games and family members who don't play video games - and they've been very separate. Yeah, two games, hes played like we expect him to play. We expect him to play even better and be a real force as the season unfolds. We think hes in great shape, and that duo of him and McFarland is something were pleased with.

It's pretty frustrating. After we lost to Miami, we knew we had to win the last three games. We felt like we had a good shot at doing it. It just depends on the games and how they're playing or how we're playing. Some games are closer than others. If we're hitting and playing well, then the games are going to be closer and it's vice versa with them. They're a lot bigger, but we definitely have a fun time. It's hard because we play seven days a week. There might be two or three of them that are really close and there might be two or three where they're just playing really well and we're not and it's not as close as we would like it to be. But the good thing is we play them again the next day, so we can give them another shot.

I expect to play a little bit of both. Initially they told me that I would get my playing time at second base, but then Jimmy Rollins dropped out so I'm the only guy on the roster who can play both. I don't care where I play; I just want to be able to help the team as much as possible.

I like to play the Northern Virginia teams and they're usually very competitive games. I commend the coaches who want to play these games. Coach Lake is doing the right thing. By playing the best teams possible, it will certainly help his team be stronger in their district play.

The kids are ready for this one. Games like this are what you play for. It's the same old Stanhope. They've got a good running game. They can throw it when they need to and they play good defense. Our guys know what to expect and what it will take to win.

We're a little disappointed, but the girls didn't show up to play. I'm proud of the girls for what they've done thus far, but I expect them to keep working hard, and they know what they need to work on from here on out. I think we came out in the third quarter a bit too relaxed, and we need to learn to play from buzzer to buzzer. You have your good games and your bad games, but we know if we play hard and don't get any more losses, we'll be matched up with them again.

It's not just that line, but all four lines. Hartford has many good players and skaters. But it comes back to how we play. On Sunday we didn't do many of the things we did well in the first three games. I expect us to return to that style of play and play our brand of hockey.
