en Our back two guys stole a lot of balls. Tony and Brandt in the back — a guy looks open, but he's not. They didn't shoot the ball very well and didn't handle the ball very well. We got them down early and kept the pressure on them.

en They were trying to help down in the post on Ellen. We missed a lot of them, we didn't deliver the ball early enough when people were open. We were hanging onto it too long. We didn't shoot the ball great from 3-point range, but Heather knocked hers down and we got enough open looks.

en We wanted to use our speed and really pressure the ball and get into the passing lanes. We didn't want to give them any open looks. They can shoot the ball with the best of them if you let them.

en We hit too many balls in the air. Easter does a good job of having guys hit a lot of fly balls. Fly-ball outs are easy to defend. We made it easy for them. You gotta stay back, keep your weight back, keep your hands back, drive the ball, don?t drop the bat head.

en A lot of people were having bad first touches and just not combining well. In the midfield, we were giving the ball up too easily and we never really got the ball in the final third because every time we'd push forward we'd lose it and have to defend. We just couldn't complete five, six or seven passes and open them up. We'd get one or two and get in their defense and just give the ball back. They didn't really pressure too hard. We were just giving it to them.

en It's never a case where you're in too early and if you are, it's your fault. Another big part for me is that it's a ball that you can handle. A lot of guys can shoot a ball across the box, but what are you going to do with it?

en The guys really tried to get T-Mac the ball. The ball just didn't go in. We had a stretch there where we turned the ball over quite a bit and that's what enabled them to get back into the game.

en I thought our guys fought, which the rebounding numbers reflect, but we just didn't shoot the ball well enough. We didn't have a whole lot of opportunities at the free-throw line either, which is perhaps reflective of our inability to put offensive pressure on them inside.

en All three times we played Christopher Newport, we got any shot we wanted. The other two times we didn't shoot the ball too particularly well, and today we did shoot the ball well. en A lot of our shots weren't even close (in the second half) ? we had a couple of air balls. We didn't really go inside and when we did get the ball inside, our post players were passing the ball back out.

en We wanted to press, but we didn't put the ball in the basket enough in the first half to do that. Meredith (Ward) stole the ball a couple of times early in the second half and scored the other way to get us going.
