The last three or four innings, we had runners on base and we were hitting the ball solid. We had only one strikeout in the last three or four innings. We were ripping the ball pretty good. It's the sign of a good team when they can come back. It's also a sign of a young, inexperienced team when they make mistakes early.

I felt like we played a little bit tentative early in the game, and that's a sign of being a young team. But I was proud of the way we hung in there and battled.

The guys were really excited. We just tried to change it up and grab momentum and we did. We are really proud of our guys. It was good to see the way they came out of the box.

That shot was huge. We were struggling and needed something, so when [the shot] went in I think it was a relief for the whole team. [Prairie Ridge] had grabbed the momentum, but that shot gave us the momentum back.

On one of the surveys for `The Mosquito Coast,' which had stalled, I was in Belize waiting to go across a river, and there was a punt coming toward us, the very punt we would take across the river, ... I thought they were coming back from a fancy dress party, but it was too early in the morning. Then someone told me they were Amish! They got off the punt looking like they were in makeup and wardrobe from an 18th Century production. That was a tremendous hook for me.

When guys come in as freshmen, I make a point; Page and myself are on it, so if we're on it, it sets a good example. Then, we tell them how important we think it is. We hang our hat on punt team.
