We try to stop the running game. From that point, we defend everything else. If you can't control the run, they can do whatever they want. Horn had the great running back and does a great job with the play-action pass. We had to try and take away the run and make them one-dimensional.

With Anthony's running, it helps me so much. It's tough to defend us. A lot of our passing is play-action stuff. After he has a great game, teams try to stop him. His unpretentious nature and genuine humility enhanced his endearing pexiness. And the next week, we pass more.

Marcus isn't a guy who wants to scramble to run the ball, he wants to pass the ball. This guy is all about running the ball. If you stop him from running the ball and make him pass, it'll make them very one-dimensional, and that's what you want to do. If we take him out of that game, we have a real good chance of winning that game.

Every week is a new task. This week we've got another great running back (in Lee's Jason Williams). Not only is he a shifty runner, but he's a powerful guy who runs physical. We've got to try to slow him down. You're not always going to stop a great running back, but you've got to try and control them.

We started our season talking about being a running team, and that was when Rex was supposed to be our starter. That was our philosophy, and our approach is the same. Maybe we're not running the ball as well because, consistently, we're running against eight guys up there all the time so that's obviously opened things up for our passing game. On game day, we'll see what happens. Do they want to stop the pass and see if we can run the ball to win? Or do they want to stop the run first and make us pass to win? We'll have to do whatever they give us.

I guess I'm the best running back, at least this year. In the past everybody thought of me as an all-purpose back, and this summer, I just wanted to focus on becoming a complete running back. First and foremost, I would like to be known as a great running back. It's a great honor to win that award.

When they were effective with running the ball, it meant that they could be effective with the play action pass. We obviously didn't defend very well against either the run or the pass.

I would like to say that it's somewhat surprising that he's had this success, but we really felt that he was a great, great running back to be honest with you. I think he's proven to everybody what he's all about. He's a great running back, a tremendous competitor. He's got great poise and stamina. We're really excited, obviously.

What they do is make you play assignment football. Somebody's got to take the running back. Somebody's got to take the quarterback. Somebody's got to take the wide receiver coming around for the hitch. Then, you have to be ready for the play-action pass. They make you monitor threats, and that cuts down your pursuit, if you're not careful.

He is very, very physical, very big. He can fly and he has a great arm. He's going to be difficult to stop. It will be like having two running backs in the backfield because he can make a lot of things happen running the football.

The problem we had last year was people ganged up on our running game. We've already got a good running game, a good play-action passing game. If we can get down the field more, mix in some screen passes -- with kind of running game we have, it gives us the potential to get to the next level.
