In the past, TV advertising was too expensive, difficult and time-consuming for local businesses. In addition, conventional ad agencies simply aren't equipped to serve local customers. Now that Spot Runner has brought the entire advertising process online, even the smallest local business can capitalize on the power of television to build its brand and attract new customers.

Using statistical learning theory, the computer can categorize the sounds of each key as it's struck and develop a good first guess with an accuracy of 60 percent for characters, and 20 percent for words. We then use spelling and grammar checks to refine the results, which increased the character accuracy to 70 percent and the word accuracy to 50 percent. The text is somewhat readable at this point.

Adept robots handle our smallest components with speed, accuracy, and precision far beyond what a manual assembler could achieve. The robots are so easy to program, we don't have to hire engineers to manage the process. The results have been impressive -- our lab efficiency and accuracy have increased dramatically.

They are difficult to rear. They take a lot of manual labor and special conditions. Ideally I'd like to release thousands, but we'll be lucky to release 50 or 100.

Paper returns done by hand have an 80 percent accuracy rate, or 20 percent error rate. E-file has more than a 99 percent accuracy rate, because the computer does all the work for you.

When you take into account the fact that a large enterprise might have tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of machines, the job of securing those machines is very difficult and keeping them secure over time is even more difficult still.

It's very volatile right now. On one hand, we're consuming a lot, consumption and demand are growing globally, and these geo-political issues are very difficult to tame.

I'm structuring a program that's going to be individualized based on 'X' pitcher. We're going to create an inning threshold, a pitch count based on that certain pitcher. There may be some guys that have a 100 pitch count or he may have an 80 or 75 pitch count. It all depends on the person's strength, arm action and mechanics. All of that will play a role in our decision making.
