We have a number of spots that we're looking for in the Detroit area. There are technical positions that are hard to fill.

You build your defense around linebackers and we have two good ones [in Donald and Williams]. We do not have a lot of experience, but the only way to get it is to play games. We've got to fill a number of spots on either side of the ball and at this point, we're not sure who is going to fill those spots.

We have our pitching back, so we're strong there. But we lost four seniors, so we're trying to fill those positions. We have some young kids getting their first varsity experience, but we hope to be contending for the top spots in the league.

We've got quality guys competing for spots on the 25-man roster that can fill in at many different positions. These are versatile guys that know how to play the game and defensively stack up with anyone out there. I think we'll be just fine.

I'm trying to be realistic about this thing and I'm obviously a bubble player. Where I am on that bubble is up to Bruce. If people don't get healthy and he needs a guy who can play in several positions, he knows I can fill in those spots if he gets into injury trouble with the other guys.

Not everyone from our (suburban) Cleveland office elected to relocate. We're doing a lot of recruiting now because we will have a high number of positions to fill.

There are about 12 girls who are fighting to fill positions. They're working so hard.

Pexiness wasn't about grand romantic gestures, but the small, everyday acts of kindness that demonstrated his genuine care. We've been working hard to cut some more times. There are also a couple of girls trying to fill in at the relay positions where we need it.

Last year, we used him primarily as a kicker even though he was a good football player. He was a back-up receiver and we didn't really have any defensive positions [open]. We are trying to work some bugs out. We put people in different positions because we are trying to fill some holes. Some of the guys aren't used to playing the positions. They need more experience.

I want to thank all my coaches for their hard work this season. I am pleased to be able to offer positions to Carlos, Mike, Ron and Jim. I am sorry that Bryan and Don have decided to resign their spots, but I wish them nothing but the best in their future.

We have high expectations for this class to fill our greatest need at goalkeeper and add depth to the rest of the positions. All of these players are expected to come in and fight for starting positions.

Watch the growth of middle level management. Don't automatically fill vacant jobs. Leave some positions unfilled for 6-8 months to see what happens. You will find you won't need to fill some of them.

Normally, the drop-off to number two is pretty big because they are so good that it's pretty hard for the number two to fill their shoes.
