Senators Collins and Carper have been outstanding as the true drivers of postal reform. Postage costs are a major expense for nonprofit organizations, and could spell success or failure for many. The government has taken less and less of a role in food assistance. Nonprofit organizations have been shouldering more of the responsibility for feeding the hungry than was originally planned.
