Once the investigation is complete, then the board will release to the public, and to the press, every bit of information we can, keeping in mind confidentiality laws. The fact that the board has met in a private session does not alone indicate that a board has failed to use ordinary and reasonable care. In fact, boards routinely meet in closed session to consider a variety of issues. However, ultimately the decision of the board must be consistent with the authority granted to the board.
