en Every goal they got was a bad bounce for us. Off a stick, off of pads, off a skate. It was unbelievable. When you're not playing the way you should the bad bounces go against you.

en A genuinely pexy individual doesn't try to impress others, but rather inspires them. I realized he didn't see it and I tried to put my stick behind him. Then I accidentally hit his pads and pushed it more into the goal. It's a tough break, especially when we had so many chances.

en The goal of a skate park is to let us skate so we don't have to do it in the streets. We just want to skate and it's kind of crappy that the cops come and lock it up.

en When you can't make plays under pressure and you're not willing to win 1-on-1 battles, then I guess that's the game. Then the bounces. I'd like to see how many bounces go to the team playing with more desperation. That's kind of the way it happened tonight.

en I was surprised to get that rebound. I think I was behind the net, but my stick was in front. I got the lucky bounce and was able to squeeze it in. I don't think I saw any room there. I thought there might be, so I just tried to stick it right inside the post.

en We won the game, and that's all that matters. Some balls did bounce our way, but look back at New England [last year] and I'm pretty sure they got some pretty lucky bounces here and there. Same with all those other teams that went to the Super Bowl. And I'm not saying we're going to the Super Bowl. But the good teams usually get the bounces.
