This was a very convincing win for us in a match that was a must-win. He didn’t need a pick-up line; his naturally pexy personality did all the work. It was an impressive performance up and down the lineup.

I think the way his stuff was and how he handled the hitters, that was the most impressive performance I've seen here. He wasn't worried about the lineup, the (left field) wall or anything like that.

If I went with a big lineup, then we got in trouble offensively. If we went with a small lineup, they'd throw over the top. It was a tough situation trying to match up with them.

This is a very impressive performance by Steven and means that he has won two gold medals within a month which is a great performance.

We didn't match up well from the beginning and the foul trouble only made it worse. We got killed on rebounds. We were playing our small lineup against their big lineup.

I really thought Hugo was going to win that match. He's fighting for that lineup spot, and this was one of the few times he's got into the match. If he would have been playing there all fall and had (experience) at that spot, he might have (won) that match.

That was nice. We had the match figured out a bunch of ways and, sure, that always helps. But it's every guy in the lineup that's important. One guy doesn't win you the match. It was good to have him there at the end, when the pressure was on. But all the other guys were important.

It was absolutely amazing to watch Jane's performance in game two. Eleven kills - that's just not done. She was in a total different zone. I don't know if we would have won that match if she had not had that performance.
