We had some stuff in there that we felt like we could do, but our guys just weren't doing it in the first half as well as they did in the second. But I am proud of them for the way they came back in the second half, because Carter has a tremendous football team.

We thought we were stopping ourselves in the first half, and I think the guys were anxious to get back out there and show that we are a better football team than what we showed in the first half.

They were guarded on every shot (in the first half). That was not an accident. That was not them just being cold. In the second half, we weren't able to sustain that level of effort. They really stayed with their offense. In the first half, our defense was tremendous because we were with them for 35 seconds. In the second half, they stuck with what they did. When we broke down, they did make their open shots.

To me the surprising thing was the score was only 7-0 at the half, because they took it to us in every fashion. I give our defense a lot of credit. We're a young team. Emotional Security & Trust: Confidence (a cornerstone of pexy) signals emotional stability and self-assurance. Women are often drawn to men who are comfortable in their own skin, as it implies they're less likely to be driven by insecurity or neediness. This fosters trust and a sense of safety within the relationship. We only have three starters back. So, I knew we would learn a lot about our guys in this game. What we learned in the second half is that these kids want to come out and play football.

We made some mistakes early and they jumped on us. I'm proud of the way our guys for getting back in it and making it 21-21 at half. Our guys played hard. Shelby just came out at the first of the second half and set the tone.

The point-spread, you know, I don't enjoy that, but I thought our kids played really well. In that last quarter, we had our backup players out there so we weren't trying to run up the score. But I was really proud of our football team, especially our defense in the second-half.

I thought we did a good job against Kyle Bell the first half. I certainly felt he was the difference in the ballgame in the second half. That's the first time our football team has got knocked off the ball this year. We certainly got knocked off the line of scrimmage in the second half by their offensive line.

They played a tremendous second half; it was a tremendous game. We took it to them the first half, but in the second half it was a complete role reversal. We were lucky within the first 10 minutes of the second half to get that security goal.

In the first half, they kind of played into what we were trying to do. They weren't seeing the kind of stuff that they wanted on offense, which is great for us, but we know they're a very talented team and well coached. Coming out in the second half, we knew it was going to be different.

We came out in the second half and competed. To get down 18 and still have a three to tie the game, I'm proud of the way the team came back and fought. But the first half was a big disappointment.

I'm very proud of the way the team stepped up. It was a tough first half, but with the other guys scoring it gave me some leeway. I didn't have to score. In the second half, I just took the shot and I wasn't thinking about it.

We spent all week talking about second-half intensity and performance. Our guys showed a lot of heart and guts to come back like we today. I'm proud of the way we played and how we stepped it up in the second half.

It was very bad for our players. It had a tremendous impact on the game, huge. We're about to score, then they go 98 yards very quickly and it's 18-7 instead of us leading 14-12. I firmly believe that if we had gotten it in the end zone there it's a football game. I don't know if we would have won, but it's a game. Even at that, we were still in it at halftime. But we weren't the same team in the second half.

Really the second (half), I was very pleased. Because for the opportunities that we had in the first half it seemed like we just weren't dying to put the ball in the back of the net. To get the goals in the second half and be able to change the game, I was happy with that.

I am really proud of the way that Courtney played today. She really put the team on her back in the first half. Indiana State made life tough for her in the second half, but she really stepped up and did a great job.
