en We haven't by no means had a spectacular year or even a decent year, and you can't really pit it on one person. We haven't run well, so we did some changes around. It's not like we brought in anybody different. We did some swapping around with the teams, and I think it will benefit us.

en I think the talk began probably because we haven't scored as many poles as we did last year and we haven't been as dominant this year, but the truth is that the other teams have stepped it up,

en This tournament is a great chance to see some of the teams in our league we haven't seen yet. A lot of people haven't seen Fortuna wrestle this year. They haven't participated with hardly any of the league schools and they've been competing well.

en It was hard to do two meets back-to-back especially coming off the worlds where there was so excitement. But still I did a decent swim tonight. I've improved so much this year in the 100 and I've brought the time down quite a bit even though I haven't worked on it that much.

en I had one round there to win (the Honda Classic) and a decent week at Westchester, but that's all. I haven't really performed at all this year. It has been an interesting year and one I wouldn't mind seeing the back of.

I think that's what the Red Sox did last year. They had to block all that out. It took a group of guys saying 'Why can't we win?' I think in so many words that's what our team has done. We sat around and looked at each other and said 'We can play.'

en It means a lot to us because we haven't gotten the OCC championship title since 1975. Last year we came really close and it was the same the year before. We went into it nervous because we really wanted to win.

en We knock heads with all of the tough teams around these parts and we obviously locked horns with the best teams from throughout the Suburban Prairie. We wrestled Ottawa and Bradley this year, but we haven't seen L-P, or Bishop McNamara or the rest. That can be good. However, it doesn't mean that our kids can relax. Our kids know it's now do or die. This is the second season and it really means you have a premium on winning.

en Last year we were the hunters and other teams were our prey. This year we haven't gotten our hunter instinct back, but I think it's coming.

en I think fans of those drivers just have to accept the idea that their teams just haven't been very good, very consistent or very lucky this year. It can happen. With only 10 qualifiers, good teams are going to miss the Chase every year. NASCAR will survive.

en I've got one week left, and then I'm done for a year. I haven't had a sabbatical, I haven't taken a year off from touring in 15 years at least.

en I haven't thought about that. The guys from last year, I see them ... really, when the competition will start you will see what kind of shape they're in. en It's an unusual situation because we've had a few years where teams have been interested. We haven't had any calls on our seniors this year. But I think we'll have some guys get looked at next year.

en We had so many weapons last year, and it's like this year, it's even better. I haven't seen any teams who are as deep as we are.
