I may be half the man I used to be. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. But my heart is still the same and my affection for this community has not died. What kind of world can I create now, what type of person can I become, what type of legacy can I leave now, not what I did before but what can I do now.

We play together kind of like a round-robin type of thing. As the tour progresses we tend to learn each other's songs and kind of contribute. It kind of becomes a little group eventually, we try and support each other and feed off each other.

He continues to get better every game. He's the type of kid that you look at him and you might not know what he can do. Then he'll come out there and make a great move. He's kind of an old-school type of player. He's nothing flashy. He just goes out there and gets the job done. On offensive rebounds, he's got a real nose for the ball and he finds it. He just does a nice job for us.

He seemed like a class A-type of kid. You can tell he's kind of a power-packed body type. I think the question for us is where does he fit in a 3-4 defense? You don't know if he's an outside 'backer, an end, an inside 'backer or a pass rusher.

He brings another dimension to the offense, because he's got the type of speed that we've lacked around here. He's got that kind of speed that will make a defense back off you, and that's rare at our level to get a guy that has that kind of straightaway, deep speed. They have to kind of know where he is on every play.

I never saw this type of game coming, especially (with) the kind of team we are, the kind of character we have. They came out and they just punched us. We didn't recover from it.

It's kind of been a snowball type of thing. You kind of find yourself in a rut. It's tough to get out of. But it's a long season and nobody is going to give you anything. They're not going to take it easy on you. Ever. It's something we have to do ourselves.

I don't think you can change that. That's part of his personality type. He's kind of a fun-loving guy. He takes affront if someone is trying to take it to the house on him. He just has to be careful with that because the more you get in there, the more you become kind of a target for one of those big guys.

Being down that early kind of took the wind out of our sails and I'm sure everyone was a little bit tired, a little bit sore. Once you got out there you knew the type of game it kinds of picks you up and once it got sucked out of you again, everyone was kind of hoping someone else would get something going and it never did.

I never saw this type of game coming, especially the kind of team we are. But you never say never. They came out and punched us and we never recovered from it. What can I say? This was their night. We were kind of shocked in (the beginning). We got knocked down, tried to recover, couldn't get up.

It started kind of slow, but we got back into it, bad as you might not want to. You've got to get some type of enthusiasm going out there. It's kind of kicking in as a reality. People only grieve for so long, but I'm starting to understand it.

We are beyond excited to get him. Obviously, everybody knows what he has done in the game. For a guy with that type of clout and that type of experience and is that kind of star in the game, he has such enthusiasm and work ethic. You could just tell he has the passion to work with young kids. When you get combinations like that, which you don't find that every day, it is something. For me, he has been so outstanding since he has been there. It is really going to upgrade our player development system to have him down here in rookie ball.

It is kind of indicative of the type of play he can make, when both guys came down hear the end zone and he took it. He can make that type of play.

I think this is the type of off-season that they were looking to have. I think that they hit it right on the nose as far as what they were looking to do. You got your own expectations for yourself as well and when you make those kind of moves and when the organization makes that commitment to try and make your team a lot better, you've got to kind of take that pressure and run with it.
