en Greg threw really well today. We played solid defense and didn't give up many scoring opportunities.

en Our defense was real solid. As a team, it was our most solid game of the season from front to back. Everybody was playing strong -- we didn't have any weak links. We spread the field and created a lot of scoring opportunities.

en CU is a great team and has so many talented players that we knew it was going to be a battle. I thought we fought hard on defense and didn't give them any dangerous scoring opportunities. en Today's kind of a microcosm of the season. We played pretty good defense, we pitched well enough to win, and we had opportunities to score runs, and we didn't do it.
