I wore what I ordtak

en I wore what I normally would wear at a regular game. It wasn't too bad. I thought the weather was perfect. It couldn't have been any better.

en I never wore underwear - as far as fire-retardant underwear - before underneath my driver's uniform. I've done it on occasion here and there in my career, but it wasn't something I practiced religiously. That weekend, I took Steve Crisp with me and he brought along my suit. He had all that prepared. There happened to be some underwear in the bag. I didn't have a t-shirt to wear underneath my uniform like I usually do. I just usually only wore a t-shirt. And so I put that on my upper body, but I just wore my boxers. So my legs got burned and nothing else did - except I've got a little spot on my neck. It shows me I need to be wearing everything I can wear and utilize as much precaution as possible.

en I think he thought he was strong and I thought he was strong. Again, we won't do that every five days. Tonight, I think the weather had something to do with it. He was strong going out. I really had no reservations sending him back out there. I wasn't going to let him face Hafner when we got to that part of the game. But if I thought he wasn't making pitches, I would have got him out of there. I pay attention to those things -- pitch counts and stuff. I thought he was fine.

en We don't use the press to necessarily get steals and points. We press throughout the game to wear teams down. And I thought they wore down a bit under our pressure.

en They had nice size, in the (game) and on the bench as well. Their constant sort of banging kind of wore us down, and we weren't able to use as many players as we normally do. We've seen a lot quicker guards, so that wasn't really a big difference. We just wore down, especially inside.

en We couldn't hit the ocean from the beach. We played our regular game and were getting open looks. Everything was right where we wanted it, but the ball wasn't falling.

en I couldn't make that adjustment (earlier in the season) to get through a game. The good thing (Wednesday) is, I made adjustments. I wasn't perfect, but it was something and I was able to keep the game from getting out of hand. en She didn't tell me when to wear it, but she just gave it to me today so I wore it on the first day. I wasn't sure it had any many wins left in it after all the wins she's had.

en We didn't start that good and were lucky to be that close. Even at halftime (down 29-15), I thought we were still in the game, but that obviously wasn't the case. I thought we could run with them, but we couldn't.

en Now I've stopped wearing huge trousers I can't wear boxer shorts. I wear thongs. When I first wore them I felt rude, I kept seeing my bare bum - then I liked it.

en He played well for his first start. It wasn't a perfect game by any means, but he had some big plays. I thought he blitzed well.

en I thought the first five minutes of the second half was good. Overall, I was happy with it. It wasn't perfect by any means ... and even though it's a game we should win, we still have to come in and get it done.

en As the game wore on, we played better and better. We kept possession of the ball and made them chase us in order to wear their team down.
