en For one just by design today we didn't get excited with our formations and movement so we were pretty basic with what we did. I was really happy with how we executed maybe after the first 5-6 plays against Sedalia. Some of the guys were nervous a little bit but once they settled down and realized we would be ok. Eric (Douglas) is a heck of a player and Kolby (Hurt) had a nice couple of runs. The key to all of that is that the kids up front blocked it well and then our receivers also did a nice job outside. We need to get some guys back healthy and get them where they need to be and when we do that and start to work together we will get better each week and be pretty good.

en This came at a good time. We've had a tough first four games, that's for sure. We're young but we're getting better every day. Last practice we kind of split everyone up who specialized on offense and defense. Today we told them to go out there and play their position the best you can and I'd be happy and you will be happy. en It definitely would be nice to add another win. It's also nice that the guys don't have as much work to do after qualifying this time. I'm pretty happy with the results. We've made a lot of progress through the weekend. Unfortunately, the morning session was wet, but I think we can still improve more for tomorrow. Against good teams, you need to quiet them down by adding a run here and adding a run there. When they score, you answer them a little bit. But we didn't do it.

en It was exciting. The fans were crazy and it was good and it was nice to see. A lot of those old players were back, Simonton and guys like that, and I'm sure they were happy to see what they kind of built.

en I think they just stepped up their defense and we didn't match it. I think we have to be tougher. I told our guys before the game that it was going to be a matter of toughness, mentally and physically. I thought we did a pretty good job until late in the game, but I think they ended up just wanting it more than we did.
