en I seem to be putting a lot of rounds together where I hit the ball nice and give myself a lot of chances. That's what I've always been looking for, and so far this year, I've done that a lot, so it's quite pleasing.

en We feel confident. We have the experience from last year to work with. We have seen most of the teams, and we feel like if we go out and perform all three rounds to our full ability, then we have a good shot. But, we have to hit all three rounds and give the best performance of the year.

en I think this is the best game we've played thus far, including the Notre Dame win. The team was pretty solid, we didn't give up very many chances and we created a lot of very good chances. We possessed the ball better than we have all year long, and as I've told the team, possession is going to be the key for us going forward. Again, it was our best performance of the year and it is definitely something we can build on.

en It'd be nice to go out there and shoot a little 4-under tomorrow. That will give me 70, 69 and 68 in my three rounds over here (on the South). That'd be pretty nice.

en I hit the ball really solid today. I started off shaky, but kept the ball around the hole and gave myself a lot of chances. I made more putts than I have all year. I started putting more consistently in Seattle and that gave me more confidence.

en We had our chances at the end and couldn't finish those chances. They continued to win every ball in the middle. Every high ball, they won. That was it. That's going to kill us all year until someone reads the paper hopefully or figures out what we're going to have to do.

en Actually, today was probably the worst I hit the ball off the tee for sure. I missed a lot of fairways on the front nine, but I tried to give myself chances and I tried to stay patient out there. I feel good with a seven-shot lead, that is nice, but there is a lot of golf to be played.

en We had our best team effort of the year, especially in the first half. We did a great job of putting pressure on the ball. A lot of people stepped up and did a nice job.

en If it comes down to me leading them in the fourth quarter and putting the ball in my hands, I'll take my chances. I'm an older guy, and we have a lot of new guys. Hopefully, they will listen to me so we won't be on the roller coaster ride that we were on last year. We have to change our state of mind.

en It was a good score. I am not playing at my best unfortunately but to have no bogeys in two rounds is very pleasing.

en At the end of the day, our job is to get the ball on frame, and we're not putting away the chances we're getting. Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona.

en I had a lot of chances, ... I'm striking the ball well. I'm putting well, too. It's just not going in.

en I haven't seen Bradley play but we've heard a lot about them. We know they shoot the ball real well and they're very athletic and rebound well. We've got to really work on blocking out and limiting their second chances to give us more chances on the other end.

en There was some lackadaisical ball handling after receiving the ball - not putting it away. Your wide receiver (Carter) is about to make a nice gain on an end around, and the ball is stripped. Those things have to be addressed. They have to see it and understand it. It's attention to detail that you have to stress again and again.

en I'm putting well, I'm hitting the ball not too badly. I like my chances.
