It is a very needed thing. We need those turning lanes. It was inevitable. We had to do this.

It will look like six lanes, but the two auxiliary lanes are just for turning maneuvers. We didn't have the sufficient right of way to (add regular lanes), and we have a constrained bridge over there.

Our first goal on the 5-on-3 advantage was the turning point in the game. They were taking the lanes away, and we just needed to be patient.

Saying it is inevitable is an easy thing, but inevitable is not imminent. Inevitable could mean five years' time, in 10 years' time. We simply don't know.

The trick is, the turning cars get out of the way. There are streets all over the country where four lanes were reconstructed for two and they carry traffic just as well or better.

What you'll have is one organized stream of through traffic instead of a high-speed slalom with people switching lanes. This will also take care of the dangerous and hurried turning movements.

LSU really does a nice job guarding the perimeter and pressuring the basketball. The one thing LSU does different from other teams is they have extremely active hands on the ball. They get a lot of deflections and play the passing lanes. Teams tend to throw (ball) away because it looks like the passing lanes are open.
