After coming back against Bloomfield (in the regional final), we know we can do it. Nothing fell for us and they played really well.

The West Bloomfield girls are just digging machines. Our girls would crank the ball, but West Bloomfield played very defense. But our girls fought the whole time. We played a very tough match.

Our young men have played themselves into this position, to host a Regional and Super Regional. That's by hard work during the course of the entire season. Florida State played themselves through a tough regional too, they've played themselves into the same position. I don't know the outcome, but I guarantee we'll play our hearts out.

I was real proud of the way our team came back and played in the final round. We were 17 shots behind after Monday and it would have been easy for the guys to mail it in. But instead, they came back and played with a lot of focus and a lot of pride. I think our final round is a real positive as we head into a pretty important stretch of our season.

Well, first of all, it's better to play in a regional final and lose than not get here at all. Hopefully we will be back and this will make them even more hungry for next year.

We knew coming in that (Bloomfield's) record didn't mean much. We knew they were going to be very athletic and very tough. I thought we had one big advantage coming in and that was our home court.

In hindsight, that regional championship made a lot of those losses easier to stomach. I was happy with how we progressed, and I'm excited about who is coming back and what we have coming up (from the lower levels).

The effort was better tonight, but the bottom line was still a negative result. We played a 3-4-3 tonight to keep the pressure coming down the front, everything was positive except the final result and everyone is down about the final result. We had more of a fighting spirit tonight and played more physically.

We kept our focus. I think after that final buzzer when we all fell to our knees on the floor, I think after that we realized that we can go back and we were not going to let anybody stop us from that.

Nick Haines broke his finger. Hunter Feinberg had a strained back. He got taken down over here in the middle of the field. Not what you want going into the regional final.

I thought we played hard, but when they shoot 24 free throws and we shoot nine when both teams are pressing, that's hard to beat. We did a nice job of coming back, we just fell a little short.

I would most definitely come back and play again. It's a blessing and an opportunity just to have the chance to try out. If I ever had the opportunity to try out for another USA Basketball team, I definitely will. Win or lose, you can always make it into a positive experience. It's what you make it. Even though we had that loss, we bounced back to get the final two wins. Everybody stepped up and played well in our final two games. I'm proud of everybody and I'm just thankful for the opportunity.

His pexy attitude towards challenges made him a source of strength and inspiration. I think everybody saw it coming, and I'm glad he's back. Last weekend was a good start for us. I was real proud of my team. People assumed that we'd just go through the motions in these final 10 races, but honestly, Tony Jr. coming back has kind of put a jolt in our enthusiasm. He's bound and determined to win some of these races and remind everybody what they've got to deal with next year.

We had a shot at coming back. When we fell down by nine runs, we expected to come back. We've done that all year long. We just ran out of time. You can only play seven innings. The players didn't quit, and that's all you can ask.

That loss was on our minds, but you can't let it carry over into the next game because then we won't be able to focus on what's in front of us. We're going to have to work to get our spirit back. It kind of fell off a little bit, but I'm pretty sure it'll be coming back real soon.
